“Choose the right courses and the right qualifications for you”

After discussions with teachers and parents, students are asked to choose four option subjects.
“A good education at KS4 is a balanced one. Education is the process by which individuals become confident, competent, socially responsible members of the community.”
Many GCSE subjects require students to submit regular coursework assignments which form part of the final assessment. Students and parents should be aware of the type and amount of work required for each course when choosing options. The results of recent tests and comments on the subject report should be taken into account when considering your child's potential in each subject. To be realistic now will help him/her to have a reasonable chance of success at the end of the eleventh year.
