“Choose the right courses and the right qualifications for you”
The pathways booklets are usually published in the Spring Term each year.
The school publishes four separate options booklets representing different pathways entitled Green, Yellow, Purple and White. All students study the same core curriculum but the various pathways offer different combinations of subjects and qualifications. The system of pathways is designed to satisfy the differing needs and aptitudes of students.
The Green Pathway: Choose either 5 single GCSE subjects or 3 with BTEC First Diploma Music
The Yellow Pathway: Choose 3 GCSE subjects plus 1 BTEC subject or Higher Diploma.
The Purple Pathway: Choose 3 GCSE subjects or Additional Option subjects plus 1 BTEC or Higher Diploma.
The White Pathway: Choose 3 GCSE subjects or Additional Option subjects plus 1 BTEC or Higher Diploma.
